Old school American Muscle in a cool Pickup suit! The iconic Chevrolet C/K was produced from 1959 to 2002, just to show the immortality of the model. The C/K Pickup we offer received its license plates for the first time on 28 March 1973, has been tackled entirely 10 years ago and came and into the hands of the one and only Dutch owner a year later. Up to now. Because it’s certain that there are more fans of 260 horses packed as pure Pickup power. Naturally produced by a genuine V8. Made in the USA.
Buying this Chevy is like napping in a brand-new furnished bedroom: relax, all the (preliminary) work has already been done for you. In 2009 the American Pickup Truck was completely restored, overhauled and modernized. The year of construction shows that it concerns the 3rd generation, built in the USA from 1972 to 1987. Outside home base America - in Argentina, Mexico and Venezuela - the Pickup was even produced 4 years longer. The 4th and final generation was made in America until 2002. Chevrolet built the C/K with 6-cylinder and V8 engines. Even an 8-cylinder diesel was on the list of options! However, the gasoline version is by far the most popular one. Of course.

Also popular is the version we offer: the Stepside Short Bed. In other words, including a step right behind the doors and a short (also: less boorish) body. At the same time, the position of the step ensures that the shape of the body and the wheel arches at the rear are gracefully designed rather than straight. By lowering the body fractionally, the classic Pickup actually looks much cooler.
The repainted bodywork is ink black with a deep purplish glow and features flakes, for a stunning effect when the sun shines on it. Apart from a single spot, the paintwork can be described as very neat. At the back you will find a beautiful truck floor. The super chic wooden finish is assembled with stainless steel strips. The cabin didn’t remain untouched as well: black/red skai-leather upholstery in combination with various chrome parts (including the 3-spoke sports steering wheel) and an aluminum dashboard inlay, secure that the Chevrolet is great fun to watch while driving too.
We can almost hear the 8-cylinder rumbling, with the keys of the ignition still outside the car. The external similarities with a Hot Rod certainly contribute to this fact. However, giving it a go is even more fun: when the 5.7 liter V8 comes to life, the driver and passenger will be shaken awake literally. This machine is a real character! Don’t expect any miracles in terms of speed, but it’s the whole experience that guarantees a huge smile on your face. Exactly how it should be in a genuine American Pickup Truck!
