This stunningly beautiful DB7 was delivered new in Spain on April 19, 2003 and has had only two owners ever since. The last one bought the car as an investment because of the extremely low mileage, which makes the car even more attractive. Meanwhile, the second owner deceased at a respectable age, and the Aston Martin ended up in our hands.
We’re looking for someone who will take care of this silver jewel just as properly as the previous owners did over the past 13 years. Given the history and the rare condition of the car, we find that that’s the least we can do!
The magnificent, timeless Stonsey Silver bodywork of this typical British convertible with Spanish genes, is like the perfect reflection of the brilliant shape of the Aston Martin. There’s no way you’ll find any traces of negligence on the car. This DB7 Vantage Volante breaths pure class in the purest sense of the word!
The Black Mohair convertible top and Gloss Black brake calipers are just as fine as the bodywork, and contrast beautifully with the silver paintwork. A combination of all times; one that will never be bored! Moreover, the charismatic lines of the DB7, with its graceful curves and classic shapes, fully come into their own thanks to the bright lacquer.
As classy and elegant the exterior looks, that chic and characteristic is the interior of the Aston Martin. The Charcoal leather upholstery creates a nice balance between the inside and outside, and is in perfect harmony with the Charcoal Alcantara headlining. The walnut veneer / interior finishing evokes a warm, authentic atmosphere inside the DB7. This clearly is a true Englishman!
Furthermore, every detail on the Volante-inner looks, feels and smells as immaculate and spotless as 13 years ago. For example, note the original Aston Martin Becker radio / CD player: the integrated audio system almost seems to be untouched! But perhaps more importantly, it works. That also goes for the heated front seats. Not exactly a luxury for a convertible which is used to the Spanish sun!
Engine & driving
The enormous enjoyment actually peaks at seeing, hearing and feeling the powerful 12-cylinder in the front. The majestic Vantage engine has a capacity of 5.9 liters and is a paragon of finesse and suppleness. It delivers an output of 420 hp and (most of) the immense torque (540 Nm) is available over a wide rev range. No matter the gear the Touchtronic automatic transmission is thrown into, the DB7 makes the biggest steps with the greatest ease. We love it!
This icon on wheels is a first class investment, that must sound just as incredible as the thoroughbred noise of the V12. If that’s the case, we’d like to welcome you in our Classics showroom in the Netherlands! Really, the pleasure will be all ours ...
