Exterior & interior
Optically and technically this ‘classico’ – designed by Pininfarina – is a real breathtaking jewel. The timeless coach is tough and in superb shape. The elegant silver bodywork has been repainted once. However, it has been done with the same amount of passion and craftsmanship as 45 years ago; that moment when this truly unique 2000 Coupé was assembled new by the factory in ‘bella Italia’.
The interior is even just like then: completely original! The appearance and overall condition of the red-Flavia inside, combined with beautiful black parts and a genuine wooden steering wheel including two perforated aluminum spokes, make this car a true ‘one in a million’. Not to mention the extremely tasteful chrome accents; everything about this authentic Lancia exudes purity and class.
Engine & model background
Also technically the Italian is in absolute sublime condition. The 2,000 cc boxer is the engine with the largest capacity in the Flavia series. And in this unique case: a real proper jewel.
The engine is a result of 10 years of evolution of the model. However, in 1971 the Flavia was modified in many ways, including new Girling disc brakes, stainless steel bumpers and a revised front and rear. The construction and drive quality were better than ever, as well as the sustainability aspect, thanks to the relatively modest specifications.
It’s clear: this magnificent Lancia Flavia 2000 Coupé gives a whole new meaning to antiquity. The number one reason to pay a visit to our Classics showroom in the Netherlands.
